Community Events
Our vibrant community spirit shines at Edwardstown Primary.
We are so lucky to have a team of dedicated staff, students and parents to bring many events to life who make us who we are. The following initiatives highlight our strong community focus.
Eddie’s Market
Eddie’s Market brings our community together and promotes student agency at Edwardstown. Each class runs a stall, the Year 6’s run their small businesses, and our community enjoys an evening full of fun, live music and food trucks.
Themed Casual Days
Our themed casual days add a splash of colour and fun while often supporting important causes or fundraising for school initiatives at the end of each term. The SRC decide on the theme through student voice, which have ranged from pyjama day’s to a crazy themed week.
Colour Run
The Colour Run is a high-energy event filled with laughter, movement, and a whole lot of colour, promoting health and PE, while fundraising for our school community.
Sports Day
Sports Day is a favourite community event where students showcase teamwork, resilience, and house pride.
French Day
French Day celebrates language and culture through music, food, dress-ups, and engaging classroom activities.
Disco
The school disco lights up the evening with music, dancing, and joy for students, thanks to the support of our staff.
End of Year Concert
Our End of Year Concert is a heartwarming celebration of student talent and performing arts learning, bringing the whole Edwardstown community together to celebrate the end of the year.
Together, these experiences create a dynamic learning environment where students not only grow in confidence but feel connected to a caring, inclusive community, one that truly defines who we are at Edwardstown Primary School.
